Santa will be visiting St. Winifred's on December 23rd. He will first visit the residents, followed by family and friends. If you wish to see Santa, please inform us by December 1st with the number of children attending, so Santa's elves can prepare enough gifts for everyone.

Every year, we hold a Christmas raffle to help raise funds for the home's activities, entertainers, events, and more. Tickets are now available for £1.00 per strip. Sales will end at our residents' Christmas party when the raffle is drawn on December 19, 2025.

On Monday, November 10th, our registered manager attended a "scrutiny in a day" event at Halifax Town Hall. This event was part of a review investigating the causes behind the closure of several care and nursing homes in the borough.
