For over 30 years, St. Winifred's has been providing personalised adult care and assisted living support to individuals from across Brighouse. As a CQC 'Good' rated home, and with the support of our highly skilled team, we are able to assist residents with a wide range of medical, physical and emotional needs.
The comfort and wellbeing of residents is of the upmost importance, and we have made it our mission to promote independence and happiness. To ensure we meet this goal, we have set up many activities and on site facilities. Why not take a look below at some of the things we have on offer?
We have a full-time, on-site event planner
Keeping spirits high is key to making our residents feel at home, and as such we have our own dedicated on-site event planner. They work to organise fun and engaging activities, which are planned daily. We also arrange regular day trips out.
Spiritual guidance
Here at St Winifred's we respect and accommodate the spirituality of our residents. We have regular visits from Jane Hearson from St Matthews Anglican & Methodist Church. Over the past decade we have grown a fantastic relationship with our vicar who has been visiting our residents on the first Wednesday of every month. We also have a Catholic Priest who visits our facility upon request.
On-site hairdressing facilities
We have ensured that our residents have regular access to a hairdresser. Margaret France offers a range of services to residents:

Full laundry facilities
We are fully equipped to handle all the washing of clothes and bedsheets for the residents in-house. We also allow family members to take control of this, in case you would prefer to wash their linen with your own detergents and washing machine.
